Peter Richards & Co. is an independent property consultancy based in Shropshire. Established in 2008, we specialise in development land sales, planning applications and Local Plan representation, both here in Shropshire and throughout the surrounding counties.
Peter Richards is a highly experienced Chartered Surveyor and is fully accredited by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Along with our core team, Peter Richards & Co. works with a trusted pool of fellow professionals, from designers to specialist consultants, allowing us to support clients through every stage of their project. Our Team
Peter Richards
Peter, our Director, has over 20 years’ experience working in the property sector, including working for national housebuilders and running a multi-disciplined surveying practice.
Peter was previously Head of the Development Land Department at Shropshire-based Chartered Surveying practice Barbers. Prior to that he worked as Land Manager at David Wilson and Fairclough Homes, where he was responsible for sourcing and acquiring residential development land across the West Midlands.
Holly Charmley
Holly is a key member of the team, principally operating as Planning Manager. She is a Chartered Surveyor and member of RICS within our Planning & Development Facility.
Holly has rural roots, having studied at Harper Adams. Before joining Peter Richards & Co, she was part of company which specialised in developing Anaerobic Digesters.
Charlotte Mason
Charlotte spent her placement year from Harper Adams University working within the firm, and rejoined the team in 2023 after spending time post-graduation working within the utility sector.
Having recently passed her Assessment of Professional Competence in Surveying, Charlotte is looking forward to developing and specialising in Planning and Development as a Chartered Surveyor.
