We are pleased to confirm that last week we were successful in assisting clients with gaining planning consent via appeal, for the construction of 2 local needs dwellings under Shropshire Council’s Build Your Own Affordable Home scheme.
The scheme is a practical initiative that supports local residents in building their own affordable homes, particularly in rural areas where housing choices may be limited.
Build Your Own Affordable Home is based on the Single Plot Exception Site policy, which allows self-build homes to be developed on sites that would not usually be granted planning permission under standard regulations.
